EarthCare Program

CERTIFICATION

There are three levels of certification, each of which requires a greater degree of commitment. While most congregations start with Level A, any track may be chosen. If pursuing certification, please collect documentation including photos, fliers or bulletins of your projects and efforts.

Level A: EarthCare Covenant/Community Commitment Statement–Prayer & Vision

Create a covenant or Community Commitment Statement to care for creation to be adopted by the spiritual leadership, board of directors, and entire community.

Level B: EarthCare Commitment–Inspire, Educate Act

Providing guidance for church communities to further their commitment to EarthCare through four steps and three actions.

Level C: EarthCare Fulfillment–Inspire, Educate, Act, Share & Reaffirm

Cultivating a comprehensive earth oriented spirituality that touches the entire ministry.

Program Flexibility

Any Unity ministry or group can participate in the certification process, whether or not they own their facility or offer traditional Sunday services.
